The artillery ammunition dump for the regiment See on file notice was located in a wooded area northwest of Orkeny and was heavily guarded and enclosed by a high barbed wire fence. The road leading into the area was off limits to the local populace. 4. The artillery range used by the regiment See on file notice 417 was located in the vicinity of Gyon 57lON 1919E along a main highway. The range covered a huge area and was used for all types of artillery firing problems, 5. A supply area See on file notice 3 7 consisting of several - buildings was used for the storage of clothing and equipment and also as a stable for horses. 6. Occupied by the two battalion headquarters and various sections. (15) NCO School, two stories high, 100 x 100 m. The building contained various types of classrooms, lecture halls and also housed the kaserne post exchange. (16) Water pump station. (17) Gate guard and main entrance. (18) Barbed wire fence encircling the kaserne area -. two and various staff and administrative sections. (2) Billets, four stories high, 90 x 15m. Used as billets for the entire regiment. (3) Warehouse, ground floor only, 20 x 8m. Contained clothing and field equipment. (4) Dispensary and hospital, two stories high, 40 x 15m. (5) Messhall, "L" shaped building, ground floor only. Used as enlisted and officer mess. (6) POL storage area, 15 x 15m, enclosed by a two meter high barbed wire fence containing all types of products in 50 gallon drums. (7) Subcaliber artillery range, 100 x 12m. (8) "L" shaped, shed type building, 50 a 50 x 15m. Used as gun shed and vehicle park. (9) Ammunition Bunker, contained various types of small arms ammunition. (10) Gas Chamber, ground floor only, 15 a 15m. (11) Motor pool and repair shop, ground floor only, garage type building 20 a 10m and enclosed by a two meter high barbed wire fence. (12) Shop building, ground floor only, 30 x 15m. Used by the ordnance repair section for the performance of major re- pairs on artillery pieces. (13) Gun shed, 25 x 15m. meters high. 8.
