The AAA division was composed of four regiments, three of them stationed in Dunafold, Vac, Ercs and a fourth in a location unknown to me. Every regiment had five batteries, but I am not able to furnish detailed information on the organizational breakdowm of these batteries. 4. At the Matyas 1{aserne, there was only one teletype machine of foreign make. It was used by three operators in three shifts to maintain communications with the headquarters of the various military installations throughout Hungary. lost of our contacts were made with Dunafold AAA regimental head- quarters through a direct circuit. Comlminications with other stations could only be established by requesting the proper circuit from the Ministry of Defense. 5. Messages sent by teletype consisted of clear routine military operational or administrative orders, or coded messages of a classified nature. In addition, two H#20 type radio sets were also used to maintain communications with the various units. 6. There as an officers candidate school in the 1,4ty" Kaserne, vhere approx- imately 100 to 120 officers were train-' yearly. Courses taught consisted of radar, radio commimicatinna anti aircraft tacticsj. AA guns, etc. Classes usually startin February and ended in May of each year.
