for the cyclone forecast.

stations don't ? u the above mentioned conclusions (murrr~.nsk).
Therefore it was Important to investigate the microsoism pro-
? ? different conditions,
paper In this : consider distortions ? microseism
propogation direction and the period and amplitude fields of
? registered in the seismic stations of the Soviet
Union.
1. The propagation of surface !~faves depends on the r7ater
masses. This dependence s calculated by us. The results of
calculaticns have shown that It is necessary to take into
acccunt the water ? the ? 7ith different depths
if --e rant to determine the coordinates of nicroseism sourses,
2. Based on the data, obtained from the constant seismic
ntations of the Soviet Union re s attempted to determine
calcula-
ted the observations of 1C microseismic storms. The analysis
? ? s shovin s the seismic ? generated by
cyclones ocean and the Northern seas may be
registrated by the all ??- stationso in the Asia till Ir-
kutsk.
Some cyclones (T"hich generally move along Kola Peninsula)
have ? the Increased microseisms and their maximum comes
later 6-8 hours then the intensity maximum of cyclone. The
amplitude of microseism depends directly on cyclone intensityg it
? epicentric distance increases. The period field

has another nature. All the stations may register microsoisms
with the periods of 4,5 - 8 see. independently of epicentric
? istance.
In these limits the microseism periods increase with the
gro,rth of microseism amplitudes, the microseism intensity
maximum coinciding in time with the period maximum. The deep
cyclones generate the microseisms with periods of 6 - 7 sec#
Cyclones which are not so deep generate mioroseiSM8 rith periods
of 5-6 see. The pe lode don't depend on the ocean depth, rhere
