They were in a column formation with the submarine tender at the head. Their speed was 10.5 knots. In addition to the regular international runninglights, two bright red lights one above the other on each of the naval vessels. under repair at the naval repair yard there were two marine railways for ship repair and vessels only up to 100' could be accommodated./ 9. 10. Soviet Bloc Merchant Ships a. At designator K a Soviet ship of six thousand tons deadweight was berthed. a Soviet freighter of three thousand tons deadwei departed. A Soviet tanker of 1 thousand tons deadweight, described as "not old but not new," had finished discharging and was cleaning tanks. up to 12 Polish vessels in subject port. b. The Polish freighter Tv-' ZT KI was berthed at designator L. This 14 thousand ton deadweight ship was built in Germany and sailed in the German merchant marine until it was sunk. It was raised after bung on the bottom several years and renovated by the Poles and is now/8 the largest ships in the Polish merchant marine. the ship is in perfect condition and that it had a good paint job. the WSR has been putting heavy pressure on Poland to turn this ship over to her. DZISRZYI has engaged in trade with Red China for the last two years. vessel was lifting steel pipes varying in diameter from 4' to 12' for China. observed several well-dressed Chinese who appeared to be businessmen aboard the DZIKRZXEKI.
