10. Soviet Bloc Merchant Ships
a. At designator K a Soviet ship of six thousand tons deadweight was
berthed. a Soviet freighter of three thousand tons deadwei
departed. A Soviet tanker of 1 thousand tons deadweight,
described as "not old but not new," had finished discharging and
was cleaning tanks. up to 12 Polish vessels in subject
port.
b. The Polish freighter Tv-' ZT KI was berthed at designator L.
This 14 thousand ton deadweight ship was built
in Germany and sailed in the German merchant marine until it was sunk. It
was raised after bung on the bottom several years and renovated by the
Poles and is now/8 the largest ships in the Polish merchant marine.
