1. The Max Processing Plant (Topitoria Carta) is located between the villages
of Colun and Carta and on the northern side of the 01tul River, which flows
east and west.
2. Construction of the plant was started in 1?,2 and was completed in 1958.

The plant consists of one building which is fairly large. Plans have been
formulated to construct additions]. buildings.
The plant processes flax and hemp which is shipped in from the fields and
other areas. After it is chemically processed the product is shipped in
bales to other plants in Rumania and/or is exported other
countries.

5. Electricity for the plant is supplied by Medics, which is located
approximately 40 to 50 milometers north of Colun and Carta. Water for
the plant is drawn from the Oltul River.
