1. An all weather road g92g runs from Satora qi ely southwest toward Miskolc
via Sarospatak. Another all weather road 3922 rums from SatoraluWhely
north northwest to the Hut -Czechoslovakian border via Fuzerkoiatos.
Another all weather road 2g runs from Satorljaxjhely across the border
into Czechoslovakia and goes northward where it runs toward Kosice.
2. The above roads have good solid foundations and are over three lanes wide.
The roads are capable of absorbing heavy usage and are fairly well main-
tained.. The roads are macadam surfaced and are considered to be first
class highways.
3. A loose etzrfaee, all weather road jg~09] runs from Sato .l jau jhe ly . northward,
encircling the Magas hill and goes southward to Karolyfalva. The road is
over two lanes wide and is capable of being used for heavy traffic.
A number of loose surface, dry weather dirt roads 59327 run in the vicin-
ity of Scmlyod, Barazda and Sator i j .u jhe The dirt roads are approaeimate?
ly two lanes wide and occasionally are capable of absorbing heavy usage.
However, when it rains hard the canals which run in the vicinity of the dirt
roads, tend to overflow the river banks and flood the dirt roads. It would
take a day or two. before the waters receded. During this time it was easier
to drive on the fields.
