2. The above roads are designed for heavy usage. The roads have a good solid
foundation and are asphalt surfaced. A I nimmi miainte:uanee is regaired m
these roads. The roads are considered to be first class highways in R=snia.
The roads run through hilly and rocky terrain.
3. A loose surface, graded, all weather raved o runs tram Babes southward
to Capalna. Another loose surface., graded, all weather road rums
from Babes northeast to Vingard. The ssmr type of loose surface, graded,
all weather road 9O 7 runs from Alba-lulu eastward to B1a.j. The loose
surface roads are over two lanes wide and are designed for heavy usage.
The roads are gravel surfaced with sand, and are graded periodically.
4. A loose awrface, all weather road j)O 7 which is over me lane wide ruins
from Geosgiu northeast to Totoiul. It rums parallel to the Tires River
which flows northeast to southwest. The loose surface road can absorb
heavy usage.
5. A number of loose surf ce, dry weather dirt roads 993f run in the vicinity
of Langrems Ciora, Dainbar and Bahaul. These villages are located am and
Alba.Iulia and Sebes. The dirt roads are over one lame in width. Because
of the natural foondatim of the roads which consist of rock, gravel and
sand, they occasionally are able to bear heavy traffic. s and villag-
ers resurface and grads the dirt roads.
