Darum besorgt, den Seeleuten in den Hafen der Deutschen
Demokratischen Republik einen angenehmen Aufenthalt
zu bereiten, wurde vom Bundesvorstand des FDGB efn
Haus in Wismar als Internationaler Club der Seeleute einge-
richtet and am 18. Marz 1955 seiner Bestimmung Ubergeben.
Die internationale Seefahrt kann mit berechtigtem Stolz
auf dieses neue Klubhaus blicken. Zum ersten Mal in der
Geschichte des Wismarer Hafens wurde fur die Seeleute
eine Heimstatte geschaffen, in der sie nach Wochen and
Monaten angestrengter Seefahrt Gemiitlichkeit, Frohsinn
and Unterhaltung finden.
Durch eine umfassende kulturelle Tatigkeit fordert der
Inter-Club die Volkerfreundschaft and festigt das Zusammen-
gehorigkeitsgefiihl der Seeleute aller Lander.
Die Klubleitung ladt jeden Seemann herzlichst zum Besuch
in ihrem Hause efn. Sie wind stets bemiiht sein, Freude
and Entspannung zu bieten and die Wiinsche ihrer Gaste
zu erftillen.

SEAMEN!
Taking care for the seafaring men that they have pleasant
time during their stay in the ports of the German Demo-
kratic Republic the Federal Board of the Free German Trade
Unions established an institution at Wismar, namely ,the
International Club for Seamen".
On the 18th of March 1955 it was delivered over to the public.
The international navigation can look with a right pride at
this new,,CLUB-HOUSE"
It is the first time in the history of the port of Wismar that
for seamen were built a home in which they can find after
straining voyages good humor and amusement.
The ?I N TE RC L U B" especially takes care by his activness
in culturally work for continually growing friendship with
all nations and the continually strengthening of belonging
together with seamen of all countries.
The club-management invites herewith all seamen hearty
for paying a visit in their house. They will always make the
best of spending pleasure and refreshment and?meeting the
wishes of their visitors.

till besok i deras hem och efterstravar alltid all bjuda gladje
och forstroelse samt uppfylla sina gasters onskningar.
