In late February 1958, at Tbilisi/Soganlug Airfield, there were 34 MIG-17 (FRESCO) on the parking apron and one probable FISHBED "B" in the hangar. Eighteen of the MIG-17 were equipped with a pod under each wing, located mid-way between wing tip and fuselage. 2.
