The follo~ing is the te~-t of a bulletin issued on 2nd January, 1961,
by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Trade in PRAGUE, and distributed to
delegates overse~.s.
Bulletin for Delegates

Ne:+ Yep-.r. It is no^ establi: hed custom to evaluate activity during
the previous period and -.~e should therefore like to say a fe:~r ,cords about
the Bulletins issued during 196G.
From comments received from delegates,-~e may judge th~~.t our
Bulletins have their good u.nd b:d points. Some delegates have objected
that they :re too austere (,hich ryas our fault), other have complained
that the Bulletins arrived too late (4rhich ~~aas not our fault), and there
have even been requests to us to issue tie bulletins in the furor of a
ministerial (?de ps,rt::~ents,l) revietia. ~1e should like the bulletin for
dele~; ~.te^~ to be a strong link bet~~~een our I?:~finistry and all our ~rori`ers
abroad. It ill therefore be our endeavour to include in them not only
news about plan fulfilment ana the tasl~:s before our aelegates, but also
about socialist competition, propaganda, trade union affairs, and so on.
We shall, ho,~rever, be glad to publish also information arhich you
send us for this purpose.

We are very happy to inform you that in 1960 our organisation
fulfilled all the conditions for interdepartmental competition.
The export plan fulfilment percentage for the capitalist sector ~~as
109f and for the socialist camp countries 107.6. The import plan
fulfilment percentage for the capitalist sector c~as 100.7 and for the
socialist camp countries 113.1.
The cash ~.ccount recovery percentage for the socialist countries ~~as
109.4f and for the capitalist sector 106.5f.
The contract concluded ~.;ith the collective organisation of employees
and binding cn the entire concern has thus been fulfilled. All ~~oups
