Description of the section of Railway Line NEUB.RANDENBURG to DEIMIN.
1. Permanent Way
(a) Rails
i) Gauge. Not stated.
ii) Rails normal, 15 m. long. In NEUBRANDENBURG new rails, 25 m.
long, have been laid. These rails are stamped "Bochum Stahlverein".
iii) Rails screwed to sleepers.
(b) Sleepers
i) Type. Wooden. In NEUBBANDENBURG partly wooden and partly iron.
ii) Spacing. 80 cm. interval.
2. Description of Line (In this report all Kilometer distances are
measured from BERLIN-FRIEDRICHSTRASSE)

A new passenger station called STERNFELD has been constructed
at 195.7 Km-
(0) Passing Loops
At 177.8 Km to 181.4 Km (ALTENI'RETTOW)

i) Iron. At 173 Km over the R. TOLLENSE,

At 164.8 Km to 169 Km, gradient of 1 : 400
No sharp curves.
(h) Junctions and spurs
There is a junction at NEUBRANDI.NDURG with lines to
(i) GUESTROW, SCH ERIN and STRAL UND
(ii) ANKI,AM and PASEWALK.
3. System of Signalling
At NEUDRANDENBURG signals and points are operated electrically.
Control is directed from Signal box A2.
At DERK IN Signals and points are operated electrically. Control
is directed from Signal box DEM I.
4. Administrative System of Control
At NEUBR4NDENBURG control is centralised and directed from Signal
box NEBR.
At DEAMIN Control is centralised and directed from the station.
5. Marshalling Yards.
6. Servicing and Repair Facilities
(a) Engine sheds.

NEUBR.II1DENBURG. There are 2 sheds, dimensions of each:-
