eastward through Frankfurt/Oder. no Soviet shipments were
accepted for a period of eight hours.; A representative of the Soviet rail
transportation authorities attempted to speak to a member of the Polish
railway administrative office by telephone but the Pole hung up the
receiver shortly after being connectede trains were being
accepted by the Polish railways; but in most cases with a delay of at least an
