One car carried a train guard of Soviet troops. 5/1/57 - At Forflutspitge(sp?) the bridge from the left side of the Oder towards the Soviet barracks is being strenghdined, apparently to support heavy tanks. 26/12/56 - 250 Soviet jeeps were, sent through Frankfurt/Oder to.the West by rail - destination ukn. 19/1/57 - Only a guard company of Soviet troops is left in, the "Norddeutche" barracks at Luekenwald. All others have been trans- ferred. 4. 19/1/57 - 5 trains of 15 cars a piece were made up for the transfer of Soviet tanks from Beeskow'towards Luebben. 17/l/57.- One trainload of hand grenades was dispatched to i,k)i cF.toT"v -LAL;.%4 from Beeskow. Two trainloads of hand grenades arrived at Beeskow from Frankfurt/Oder. Number of cars ukn. 22/1/57 - For-the last 6-8 months the road from Biesenthal to Finow has been closed to civilian traffic. 29/1/57 - Three training aircraft only remain at the Finow airport(Soviet). These fly daily training missions. 18/1/57 - The road leading from the Soviet casern at Finow= furt to Biesenthal has been closed to civilian traffic.
