The City of NizhniY-Tail. It is a large town of about one million inhabitants. It has many industrial installations, 2. SHII3POTREB. In the northern part of the city, near Camp #1, there was a large factory complex. A high fence completely surrounded it. The area covered was about 4 x 4 kilometers cement had been completed, 600 prisoners and many free workers were employed there under the supervision of free engineers. this complex, called SHI_RPOTREB, was designed for the manufacture of consumer goods: spoons, cloth, and other household utensils. 3. Near Camp #1 was a larger hospital called "Mezhduoblastnaya bol- uitsa," It was made up of four, one-story, wooden buildings, each about 35-40 g 15 meters. They were all alike. One was for internal diseases, one for surgery, one for TB, and one was used by the invalids who worked in the hospital, Each building had one Chief and some specialists. all the Soviet doctors were women.
