In early 1957 there were three transloading stations at Terespol (N 52-05,
E 23-37) situated in a west-east direction in the forest of Nadl Chotylow.
The three stations were served by one Soviet railroad line from the north.
Northern part: 1 platform about 600 meters long
(inactive) 3 Soviet tracks on the east (photos 1,2,11.,6)
2 western tracks on the west
Central part: 1 platform about 600 meters long
(inactive) 11. Soviet tracks on the east
3 western tracks on the west
7 semaphores at the southern end of the plat-
form.
This part of the West Station was about 200
meters south of the preceding part.

Southern part: Slightly on an angle to the Central Station
and located about 300 meters to the south of
it. One Soviet track led from the Central
Station southeast through the woods. Another
branch from the Central Station became double-
track at the entrance to the southern part.
From east to west, the West Station included the following:
1 platform ramp about 600 meters long (along the road)
2 Soviet tracks with Soviet cars
1 platform 600 meters long
2 western tracks with East German railroad cars
The station was active and guarded.

One Soviet line came in from the ~ortof'th~ePlplatform atform and sinci~ded, from
station itself was 500 meters
east to west, the following:
1 platform 800 meters long, of which 600 meters were a ramp along
the road
2 Soviet tracks with cars in the process of unloading
1 central platform 800 meters long, of which 1+50 meters were
covered
2 western tracks with Polish and East German cars
1 800 meter platform
c. East,Station
One Soviet track came from the north. From east to west, the station
included the following:
1 platform 800 meters long (of which 600 meters were a ramp along
the road)
1 Soviet track and 1 western track, overlapping
1 other Soviet track
1 800-meter platform with a northern terminal
2 western tracks
station was inactive and without lights
2. The three stations had not been completed. The switch posts were still under
construction; no windows had been installed. Workmen were working ono the
tracks. The three stations were linked with the main highway to north
by three cindered roads. These roads did not go beyond the s
of each station. The coupling system with the different Soviet and western
tracks to the south was not studied. The southern part of the West Station
was difficult to observe; one of the Soviet tracks was on an embankment
and interfered with observations towards the west.
