Metal mast, about 25-30 meters .high, rising ,from. the top of the tower,
2o-Crosspieces at right angles to the mast,,jalternately half-length on one
side or the other all the way up.
3. Top cross-piece, at right angles.to the mainstreety and,8 ending
1-12 meters on each side of the mast.
4. Aerial wires., about five in number,, on .each .side of the tower,. stretching
from the.top of the mast, andwith.insulators at regular intervals on them.
Wires, to the roofs of surrounding houses';'it is. not known .whether these
are supports or aerials.

1. Since the middle 'of. 1955, the tower of the finer fort.at Prerov, which is
about 30 meters high, has not been-accessible to the public. The museum of
old weapons which used to be in the tower has.been removed, some radio
apparatus has been installed in.the rooms. it'foruisrly odcupied,, and a network
of aerials has been put up on the flat roof. Three officers come to the
tower every day, and the local population think that it is a new jamming
station.
.2o The fort where -the station.is located is on .the highest paimt.in Prerov and
has no dome or superstructure. the top of the tower serving as a promenade
for visitors.
.The purpose of the installation is not precisely known, although as stated
the local population think it is a jammming,station. However,, although jamming
has been considerably intensified . in. the Preroy area, no actual intensification
was noticed after this station was broug':).t into action.
