In 1950 an aluminium smelting works and its associated power station was under construction at INOTA, and this was cc,mpleted in 1953. The construction work was partly done by CSESKOSLOVE?I~~:u ZAVADY TEZESHO STROJIRENSTVI, with the assis- tance of the Hu.garian concerns ER6Mil BERUHAZAHI, the April 4 Works, and State Concern No. 30. 2. Origina:ily, the whole of the Czech machinery and .nstaa.l- lations were intended for Yugoslavia but this was revoked when relations between Yugoslavia and the Soviet Bloc became strained, and the installation was reassigned to Hungary..
