At 2000 hrs on 3 May 57, a rail transport was unloa SPERENBERG. The transport had arrived from the dir KbNIGS'Wf1'STERHAUSEN and consisted of the following: R 1 Field kitchen; 8 tracked Prime Movers M 1950; 6 AA guns - type not identified as guns were covered with tarpaulin. Each gun was loaded on a flat 12 m in length. The overall length of the gun was appro= 10 m. The guns were mounted on 2-axled carriages with double wheels all round. Estimated calibre 120-1F0 mm. After being unloaded, the equipment and troops proceeded to the ARTILI?ERY Barracks at REHAGEN. 2. At 0430 hrs on 5 May 57, a Soviet rail transport as follows passed through SPERENBERG from the direction of JUETERBOG en route for ZOSSEN: z 1? 25 x 2-axled rail tankers; 5 x 4-axled rail tankers. (a) During the night of 6/7 May 57, loading commenced of various rail transports at SPERENBERG. Loading of transports contin- ued until 9 May 57. In all cases, empty rolling stock for loading arrived from KfNIGSWffSTERHAUSEN. Signals troops fitted each transport with a telephone cable from the rear wagon to the engine. When loading took place in the hours of darkness many street lamps were extinguished. (b) The following transports were seen: (i) 6 Mai 57: The following transport was loaded with equipment from the HEEGESEE Camp. It left in the direc- tion of JUETERBOG at 2400 hrs: 7 flats each carrying a tracked amphibian; 8 flats each carrying a 6x6 wheeled amphibian. (ii) 7Ma 51: The following transport was loaded with equipment which arrived by road from the direction of ZOSSEN. The transport left in the direction of JUETERBOG at 1830 hrs: 7 flats each carrying a tracked amphibian; 15 flats each carrying a 6x6 wheeled amphibian. (iii) 7 May 57: The following transport was loaded with equipment which had arrived in SPERENBERG by road. (iv) 8 May 51: The following transport was loaded with equipment from the HEEGESEE Camp. (v) 8 May 57: The following equipment from the REHAGEN barracks was loaded onto 2 transports which left ~n the direction of JULTERBOG at 2230 and 2300 hrs: 18 AA guns 85 mm; 16 AA guns 100 mm; 20 tracked Prime Movers M 1950; 16 It if " M 1954; 4 Searchlights mounted on 4-wheeled carriages; 5 Predictors; 4 Power units; field kitche.is; 4 large closed trailers with double wheels all round. 'vi) 9 May 57: The following equipment from the engineer unit of the SCHUMKESEE Camp were loaded onto a transport which left in the direction of JUETERBOG at 1500 hrs: loaded with iron girders and wooden planks and sleepers.
