In a valley which branches out at i;2-fCS!4;K.PBL88Kr;, just before reaching KO.NLO, a large and absolutely up-to-date Cowl Grading (sorting) Plant has been built along the LOIti'iBOVAR-iv CSEKJi-~~TOS-KOI2,0 railway line. 2. In order to provide a site for this plant the valley, which &t chat point i. about 180 m. wide, was filled up. The brook K,%SZ!J,NY Pi.T,LX was covered up and now flows underground. Building operations commenced in 1950 or 1951 and were completed in 1955. 3. This Czal Grading Plant (fig-6 on the attached sketch) is a four storey high building equipped with rubber conveyor belts. The separation of the coal from the rubble is done by air. An elevator is attached to the building, leading up to the top of the hill (fig. 64) . The sorting capacity of the plant is 4000, bons daily. 4? Round the building there are several (5 or '10) narrow-gauge electric rail tracks (marked with small x on sketch) two of which lead into the deep adit (fig.5). The bath-nc,use is a four storey high building built on the side of the hill. 5. The management of the Trust is housed in a new building (fig,4) on the _,oad leading from K01,10 to the settlement at KdKbNYKS; the road continues via ?ANP~ to PEGS. The managements of tre mines KOSSUTH, ANNA, ZOBAK and Nee.III are housed in two or three 3-storied houses (fig.8) along a road branching out of the KOIVTLO-KbK3NYtiS road nea! the deep adit. 6. The maintenance and repair service of the grading plant is carried out by the SZERELIiIPriRI NEI'IZETI J't'J,LeLLAT (National Industrial assembling Enterprise), which has a large workshop (fig.12) on the above mentioned branch road. The repair and upkeep of the pit tracks is also undertaken by this firm. (These trucks were built in PECTSZENTL RING- and by DUCLOS Bd\TY?GEPGYriR ('DUCLOS r Mine Machinery Factory) in BIDr,PFST. Fig.12/:-, is a workshop belonging to the plant. 7. On the hill top behind the baths are two hostels, for the men (fig.70) and v omen (fig.ll) working on the site. Fig.9 is a wired off site with barracks, where convs.ct,d were; previously housed while working on the surface building operations. Iii April 1955 these barracks were not in use. East of the K0I1LO-KbKbNY63 road is the new Town Hall (fig.l) and a new hotel (fig.2). Both buildings were completed in 1955. r ig.18 ma*1--ks the town KOivILO. 9. The DOI4iBOVt.R-1v1ECSEKJ J\TOS--KOIr;LO railway line (fig. 3) , which is double tracked from Iv1ECSFKJ:0OS to KOIvILO, ends at KCIvILO 3tc.tion (fig.14) in several sidings. This station is at the foot of H.~SIvI
