Tbsradar sets of 'this station were not rotating. On 25 Sept e b r , and on 2, 4, 5, and 10 October, the same observations ware made. On these days of observation, no operating and servicing personnel, nor sentries were seen. From 14 to 18 October and 28 October to 2 November- 1957, rotating radar sate were observed; personnel, trucks and other vehicles were still not noticed. One Token, 2 Knifeeet Cs and 1 Fishnet were located at Hagenow radar Installation. 6. jd& ,dust Radar Installation On 5 October 195?, three Box Bx ck;t were observed in the known locations; they were seen in to .roofed wooden buildings without radio.-trucks or other t .oks at the former airfield area. At the same location there wary a radio station with four..mets, each 7 meters high, in the middle of which was another mast, about 5. aster high; beside th, :t avast there was another Boxbrick.6 7: hlin-Ellerholz Radar School From August to 5 Octobar 1957, the following observations were made: A radio a, radar school has bona established by the OVA in Rechlin, where 1M./L rerionnel is to be .trained in the use of radar sots and as radio operatorLL: Participants of that course also received practice training with the Token of the radar installation on Sprottsoiae Berg (?fountain), On about 20 September 1957, east of Krue nael-Schwar r0md, about 500 meters southeast of the z outh+e;rn exit of l angers?k'a?ag, a truck of the NVA was observed beside which there w a4 12 to 15 meters high mast with a radar set,. Schap Radar Installation (Thuringian Forest) No changes were observed at Sohneekopf radar installation, It was reported for the first tine that in the immediate vicinity of this object, on top of Schneekopf, another installation was located which was surrounded by two fences with bushes in between. A Soviet jamming transmitter was said to be in operation there. Guards called the new installation "Experimental station of the German Post". The inhabitants of Cehlberg village in the immediate vicinity of this installation spoke about a transmitter which was to jam the medium wave broadcasts from Berlin and the northern part of the Federal Republic of Germany. One wooden building and two large stationary metal mirrors arranged at an angle of 90 degrees to each other were recognized.12 13. StAhnsdorf Station (Siigfeld-Kaserne) Between I8 October and .4 November 1957, no changes were observed at the four-mast Adcock D/x station north of the barracks and at the other antenna s~rsteras in the barracks area and In its vicinity. It was estimated that the barracks was occupied by about 600 men of e. Soviet signal unit, partially wearing signal insignia. llo Mgr 4 F_Stat on a.
