2. There are work groups (Werkgruppen) and testing bureaus (Pruefdienststelle -
PST) under each Fachgruppe.
3. As of 1 November 1957, the was still subordinate to the State Planning
Commission; according to a notice on the title page of the attached document,
the position of the DAMW in the reorganized governmental scheme had not yet
been clarified and pending further notice, it would remain under the State
Planning Commission.
