report concerning the Electric
Light Bulb Plant (Lampagyar) in udap me report lists the various
administrative departments and production section's of the plant and gives
the number of employees and the names of some of the important personnel.
.The report also named some of the types of machinery at the plant and
lists some of the products being manufactured in 1951. It also givers the
tasks of the experimental shop at that time as a) developing and testing
new weapons, b) experimenting on the physics of pro jectiles, and c) pre-
paring special personal weapons for prominent Soviet statesmen and
Hungarian sport celebrities.

This factory was formed out of the former Frommer Weapons and Machine
Factory which was divided into two factories:

department (directly subordinate to the Ministry of Interior, performed
defensive tasks; part of the frequently changed members [of this department]
