rest homes (domy wypoczynkowe) of the Ministry of
Internal Affairs Ministerstwo Spraw Wewnetrznych), formerly the Ministry of Public
Securit (Ministerstwo Bezpieczenstwa Publicznego), were never referred to as such.

These homes were utilized only by members of the Council of Ministers,
Premiers, Vice Premiers, the Minister and Vice Ministers of the Ministry of Internal
Affairs, and high Party officials. These homes were usually the most beautiful and
most luxurious villas in the areas.
These homes were utilized by lesser, but prominent government officials
and by all personnel attached to the Ministry of Internal Affairs except members of
the People's Militia (Milicja Obywatelske) and the WOP Border Guard (Wojska Ochrony
Pogranicza), since both of these organizations had separate rest homes for their
personnel.
co Rest Homes of the Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health (Ministerstwo Zdrowia) had rest homes located
at all resort areas throughout Poland, most of the Ministers
and Vice Ministers of Poland spent their vacations and holidays at these homes.
