THREE PHASE, EXPLOSION -PROOF
INDUCTION MOTOR
This series explosion-proof induction motor is manufactured after the Soviet
Model KO. It is made specially for use in coal mines, and those places where high con-
tent of inflammable gas or coal dusts present.
The motor is externally cooled by fan on the rotor shaft. The internal air circula-
tion of the motor is accomplished by the fins casted together on both ends of the alum-
inium rotor cage. Ball and roller bearings are used in the motor for better and safety
running. Aside other special fittings the wire terminal box is as well of explosion-proof
pattern.
The motor is designed for continuous ratings, 50 cycles and ambient temperature
below 25?C (the maximum allowable temperature in coal mines) ; rated output, 4-100
kw; Syn. speed, 1500, 750 R.P.M.; line voltage, 380V (or 220V on request).

TURRET LATHE
This machine is manufactured after the Soviet Model 1K36 Saddle type
Turret Lathe, suitable for parts requiring a series of successive operations (turning,
threading, etc.). The parts to be machined are held either in a 3-jaw chuck or in other
work holding fixtures. Tools necessary for operation are mounted in six holes in turret
head or clamped in four positions in the tool post of the cross slide. The machine is
driven by individual motor.
Headstock provides change of spindle speeds. Feeds for turret saddle and cross
slide are controlled individually by feed boxes fixed on aprons.
Spindle revolves in both directions.
The turret saddle has reversible power feed, hand travel and power rapid re-
verse (forward and backward) with automatic disengagement at the end of the back
stroke. A safety interlock prevents the feed and rapid reverse mechanisms from engag-
ing at the same time. The feed mechanism is provided with automatic stop roll and
overload release. Turret head and stop roll are manually operated.
The cross slide has reversible power feed and hand travel in both the longitudinal
and cross directions. Six longitudinal and one cross feed stops automatically trip the
cross slide feeds in both directions.
With special attachment, the machine is able to operate cone turning, grooving
and threading.

VERTICAL MILLING MACHINE
This machine is manufactured after the Soviet Vertical Milling Machine,
Model 6H12. The machine is designed for individual or rapid production of parts with
end mills, shank milling cutters, angle milling cutters and form cutters. Power feed
and rapid travel of the table can be moved in three directions and also reciprocated
automatically in longitudinal direction.
Enormous rigidity, large power and high speed of the spindle enable the machine
to be operated efficiently in high speed cutting.
The changes of spindle speeds and table feeds are obtained through the gear
box and feed box.
The machine provides a regulating mechanism to adjust the clearance between
nut and lead screw, so it can be used for down cut milling. For the mechanisms of
spindle speeds and table speeds are operated individually so it guarantees the reason-
able cutting rate to be applied.

UNIVERSAL MILLING MACHINE
This machine is manufactured after the Soviet Universal Milling Machine Model
6H82.
The machine is designed for milling parts with cylindrical, disk, angle cutters as
well as form cutters.
Cylindrical spur gear, helical gear and helix can be performed on this machine
when the index head is employed.
Enormous rigidity, large power and high spindle speed as the machine possesses,
so the carbide tools can be applied reasonably. The change of spindle speeds and table
feeds are obtained through the selecting mechanism of gear box and feed box.
As the movement of the table can be reciprocated automatically, so it gurantees
the machine to be employed reasonably in mass production. The feed mechanism pro-
vides a device to adjust the clearance between nut and lead screw, therefore cut down
milling can be performed on this machine.

HIGH VOLTAGE SWITCH BOARD
This high voltage switch board is manufactured after the Soviet Model KO.
It is widely used in power plants and industrial substations. It can be used in single
bus system. Rated voltage 3, 6 and 10 kv; rated maximum current 900 amp; interrupt-
ing capacity being determined by the size of type BMF-133 (Soviet type) oil circuit
breaker itself.
This switchboard consists mainly of two parts:
1. A stationary case which is made of soldered iron plates. It is subdivided into
four compartments: bus current transformer, meters and relays, and breaker.
2. A moving truck is made of angle-iron plates. It carries oil circuit breaker
BMF-133 (Soviet type); electric operating mechanism HC-10 (Soviet type) or hand
operating mechanism IZPI3A (Soviet type); or voltage transformer type HTMI'I or HOM
(Soviet type).

WATERWHEEL - GENERATOR SET
Complete set of water power generator equipment was not ever made in old
China. Since 1949 of New China, the manufacture and installation of hydroelectric
machines have been speedily developed.
In 1953 sets of waterwheel-generators of 6000 kw. capacity (water head 120 M,
syn. speed 428 R.P.M.) were produced, and now 10000 kw. sets (water head 36 M, syn.
speed 187.5 R.P.M.) are under construction.

4 H.P. PORTABLE GASOLINE ENGINE
This engine is manufactured after model EL-150 of the German Democratic Re-
public. It is a vertical single-cylinder, two-stroke cycle engine. The crank case and
piston are cast from light alloys and the cylinder block from Meehanite iron. No
valve is used, the intake and exhaust are effected through ports on the cylinder wall
and controlled by the piston movement.
The engine is air cooled under all load conditions, the speed is automatically
regulated at around 3000 R.P.M. with a centrifugal type governor, capable of holding
the speed fluctuation within + 3%.
Characterized with simplicity of construction, ease of operation and maintenance,
the engine is well suited for driving portable electrical generators, air blowers, water
pumps and other general services.

15 H.P. GASOLINE ENGINE
The gasoline engine is a four-stroke, vertical, water-cooled type suitable for driving
electric generators, water-pumps and other small industrial units.
The engine speed is centrifugally governed, the variation of revolution being ?2'/ .
Maximum torque is 11.5 kg-meter. The exhaust valve, made of special alloy steel,
can resist high temperature. The structure of the engine is simple, easy for maintenance.

The truck is designed after the Soviet Union type. It is suitable for material
transportation in engineering construction yards and workshops of heavy or light in-
dustry works.
The truck is driven by battery-operated direct current electric motor. The rear

20, 40 AND 60 H.P. DIESEL ENGINE
This model is four cycle vertical type engine, manufactured in 2, 4, and 6 cylinders,
rated respectively at 20, 40 and 60 H.P. These engines are applicable to power genera-
tion, water pumping, agricultural, industrial and marine services.
The fuel system consists of plunger type fuel injection pump with bevel-edged
slots for metering the fuel quantity and controlled by rack movement. The injection
nozzles are of the pintle type.
For starting, the 2-cylinder units can be hand-cranked, with heating plugs provid-
ed in the turbulence chamber for facilitating starting in cold weathers. The 4 and 6 cylin-
der units are provided with 12v. electric starting motors. For marine service, the engine
are supplied with planet-type gear-reverse and reduction units (with gear ratio of 1.5:1.).
The power take-off can be either through direct coupling or through a belt pully.
Speed of the engine is governed at 1200 R.P.M., fluctuating within ?2`Jc.
For stationary services, these engines will be provided with cast iron bases weigh-
ing 80 kgs. approximately.
