The airfield is bounded in the South by a single barbed wire fence that runs almost due East from approximately 968887. The wire then follows the line of the road towards BREMENHAIN village, skirts the village to the East, and leaves the road in a NE direction at approximately 964905. Neither in the North nor in the South does the runway cross the roads BLEICHENAU - BREMENHAIN and BREMENHAIN - ZOBLITZ. 3. On the eastern side of the airfield at the positions indicated on the overlay there are 5 or 6 sheds. In front of the sheds, i.e. to the West, there wore ca. 24 MIG's type airorafz, many partially covered with tarpaulin. 4. There were no signs of clearance work to the North and to the West of BREMENHAIN, nor were there any areas prohibited to German civilians in the immediate vicinity of the airfield. BREMENHAIN village itself was very quiet and there were no indications of any unusual work being under- taken or of large numbers of workmen having been brought into the area. 5. There was no flying activity between 1230 and 1700 hours on 20 October 1958. ;5 COPY Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2010/06/24: CIA-RDP80T00246AO45700410001-9 Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2010/06/24: CIA-RDP80T00246AO45700410001-9 SECRET lkemMNAIN Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2010/06/24: CIA-RDP80T00246AO45700410001-9 19
