1. The below listed naval vessels were observed in Swinoujscie (Swine-
de)
RIGA-class escort vessels at the Destroyer Quay,
with both rocket launchers uncovered, Each launche
consisted of 16 barrels located in two rows of eight each on a
rocket mounto (See sketcho) The diameter of each barrel was
estimated to be 15 centimeters, and the length was approxi-
mately 125 centimeterso One could look through the barrels
at the Destroyer Quay

only for large-scale bunkeringe The Soviet authorities have pro-
mised to make space available at the Destroyer Quay if this instal-
lation is to be expanded, The depth at the bunker quay is said to
be seven meters. Bunkering of smaller vessels takes place in the
Fishing Harbor.
7. It was stated that the pilot office recently was inspected by eus-
toms officials from Warsaw with tha result that the ordinary customs
off icars now are afraid to take cigarettes, etco, offered to them
when visiting the ships.

The guns were placed parallel to the beach in groups o
four. The four westernmost guns were farther behind the beach

objects and a searchlight. The searchlight was apparently larger
than the one previously observed there, but it was placed on the
