It is used against troops over a range of 800 m and against aircraft and parachuted troops up to the distance of 500 in. The sighting system of the R.2D machine gun is calibrated for the distance of 1000 in. The design of the machine gun allows for shooting with long or short series or with continuous fire. The rate of fire with short series is up to 150 rounds per minute. It is possible to shoot with the machine gun from aNy position also when marching. Cartridges of short size are used. The "TT" Pistol is used for combat at short distances (up to 50 meters) and for self-defence. Its design is simple and therefore the pistol is easy in use.
