of Geodesy and Cartography in PRAGUE . (Ys t edni spr4va geodesie a kartografie,

SGK) in BRATISLAVA directed all geodetic and cartographic activities in Slovakia.

The Territorial Institute of Geodesy and Cartography in BRATISLAVA was further
subdivided into divisions numbered It II9 III9 and IV (Prva, druha, tretia, and
lgtvrtd prevadzka). Divisions I and III were mainly interested in topographic 50X1-HUM
surveying; Division II was
the reproduction division
Division IV was the cadastral surveying division;
Division IV had about 30 subordinate district survey centers; -50X1-HUM
Each of these district
survey centers was responsible for the cadastral surveying within its district
boundaries, but did not do topographic surveying.
