7. Four unidentified submarine chasers
When in the open seas, they met two small destroyers,3 and sailed 50X1-HUM
together in a southeasterly direction toward Tuapse. The four submarine 0
chasers and the minesweeper returned to port the next day. 50X1-HUM

the pier (point 2 on sketch) under construction measured about 150 to 180
meters in length and 100 in width. Approximately 25 workmen and four trucks
were engaged in the work. the depth of the water at the head
of the pier at over 28 feet; alongside the pier, the depth is 211 to 28 feet.
At the base of the pier there are cement slabs which are arranged in a way that
they form a hump in the middle and slope toward the sea. Something appears to 50X1-H U M

From the size of the ditch only one pipe would be installed.
This pipe will connect the Petroleum Pier with the fuel storage tanks.
12. The already completed section of the pier east of the Grain Pier (point it on
sketch) measures about 280 meters in length and 140 meters in width. Sixty to
seventy workmen were working on widening the pier; the 50X1 -HU M
final width will be over 80 meters. Approximately 30 pieces of cement pipe
were on this pier; they were 80 centimeters in diameter, and two and a half to
three meters long.
130 There was no shipbuilding activity in the port. The small shipyard located at
point 5 on the sketch Sudoremon7 was deserted. Three Soviet merchant vessels
were undergoing repairs in the Eastern Shipyard (point 6); the floating dock
(position 7) was vacant.

24. A small old-fashioned submarine was at the pier which lies between the Petroleum
and the Grain Piers (point 8)0 One or two of the metal sheets of the conning
tower had been removed. Men carrying "farms'' (sic) were using this opening to
