Column 6: Indicates Year built.
Column 7: Indicates Country of Origin.
Column 8: Indicates Gross Tonnage.
Column 9: Indicates Cargo Deadweight Tonnage.
Total carrying capacity of the ship
less fuel, stores, water and dunnage.
Column 10: Indicates Draft under Full Load in
decimetres,
Column 11: Indicates Service Speed under Full
Load in knots.
Column 12: Indicates the Maximum Lift Capacity
of the heaviest booms, i.e. 10 x 30
indicates 10 tons forward and 30
tons aft.
Column 13: Indicates Combat Load, the tonnage of
military equipment which can be stowed
within the bale cubic as "Special
Military Loading". Combat Load tonnage
has been determined by multiplying the
factor 0.6 with the cargo deadweight
in order to compensate for an approximate
40 per cent loss of space for specialized
items of military equipment.
Column 14: Indicates Estimated Troop Capacity in
enclosed spaces of 42.5 cu. ft. per
person.
Column 15: Indicates Estimated Number of JS-.2
Tanks which can be loaded in deck
spaces.
