REVEALS A SMALL HIGHWAY BRIDGE (OVER AN 25X1
UNNAMED STREAM)' ON ROUTE 7, 0.4 NM SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF
BAN NHONG AND 1.0 NM EAST OF BAN KEN. THREE BURNING BUILDINGS
ARE OBSERVED SOUTHWEST OF THE BRIDGE. A HEAVY MACHINE GUN
SITE (THREE POSITIONS OCCUPIED) AND AN AW SITE WITH THREE
PROBABLE ZPU-2 GUNS ARE OBSERVED SOUTHEAST OF THE BRIDGE.
2. POST-STRIKE PHOTOGRAPHY OF THE SAME MISSION REVEALS
A CLOUD OF SMOKE RISING FROM THE AREA OF THE BRIDGE. THE
HEAVY SMOKE PREVENTS A DAMAGE ASSESSMENT. THE STREAM IS
FORDABLE AT A NUMBER OF LOCATIONS.
3. THE AREA HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN COVERED BY NUMEROUS
