1. SIGNIFICANCE:
THIS BRIEFING BOARD DEPICTS A NEWLY IDENTIFIED
TRUCK PARK ON ROUTE 0 IN LAOS.
2. MISSION READOUT:
REVEALS
A TRUCK PARK LOCATED APPROXIMATELY SIX NM NORTHEAST
OF SAM NEUA AND JUST SOUTHEAST OF MUONG LIET. THE
TRUCK PARK, LOCATED SOUTH OF ROUTE 6, CONSISTS OF
THREE VEHICLE SHEDS AND AT LEAST SIX VEHICLE PARKING
SLOTS, TWO OF WHICH ARE OCCUPIED BY CARGO TRUCKS. THE
TRUCK PARK IS CONNECTED TO ROUTE 0 BY A SHORT ACCESS
ROAD. THE AREA IS DEFENDED BY A CAMOUFLAGED 4-GUN
LIGHT AAA SITE (PROBABLY OCCUPIED) AND NUMEROUS FOXHOLES.
TWO LARGE AREAS OF RUN CROPS ARE NOTED ON THE SOUTHWEST
EDGE OF THE INSTALLATION.
