Hungarian infantry regiment which is stationed in the
barracks constructed in 1948/49 in the southern outskirts of the town on
the road leading to the Kastilian agricultural school. The barracks itself
consist of several modern gray concrete buildings. 50X1-HUM
2.. The strength of the regiment amounts to about 1600 men. The coumtanding
officer, Col. Jozsef Simon, took over this regiment after
returning from training in-the DsslThe signal unit-which is quartered in
these barracks is not attached to the regiment but to the Division command
