Subject: Exploitation of Japanese Air Documents.
1. Pursuant to agreement between the Service members of the
Joint Intelligence Committee and Air Vice YarshEll F.F. Inglis, an
agency has been established at Camp Ritchie.for the exploitation of
documents pertaining to Japanese aviation. The Army Air Forces
and the Air Ninistry have each been requested to furnish five (5)
air officers qualified tactically, technically and linguistically,
and twelve (12) enlisted men similarly qualified, for document
exploitation. It is requested thpt the United States Navy
furnish a similar number of personnel at the earliest practicable
date.
2. It is further requested that I be advised as soon as
possible of the dates on which this personnel can be made
available for duty.
