Pursuant to approved greement of service members JIC for .
coordination of intelligence on the Japanese Air Force from captured
documents, MID has formulated lmas to insure best overall results in
exploitation of all captured J panese documents. These plans provide
for the centralization in MID of all captured Japanese documents. An
agency for exploitation of tI1? documents has been established and _
specialized rola-tm-d personne,Z is undergoing intensive training. It is ,
hoped that the Navy will pa ticipate to the fullest limit of its avail-
able qualified person:le-IA:6=1w. specifically requested in accordance with
quantity of raw material received and prospective results therefrom.
Dissemination of resultant intelligence on the Japanese Air Force will bel
in accord with our agreement.am4recmpiete dissemination to ONI of /
intelligence from all captured documents will of course be made.
Document centralization has been initiated by a directive to
appropriate Army Theater Commanders, a copy of which is inclosed for
your information. initiate necessary action
at the earliest ment to expedite similar transmission to MID of all
Japanese do ents captured by the Navy.
