at the Hoover Library".
SUBJECT: Temporary Duty Orders for
STAT
Copy of memorandum from the Deputy Director, dated 17 February 1947, subject:
"Screening of the Hoover Library" is attached. In connection with the implementa-
tion of the request in paragraph 3 of the reference memorandum, it is requested that
orders be issued on to proceed by private automobile to Palo Alto, STAT
California, to screen material in the Hoover Library in coordination with Dr. Fisher
of that institution and such research analysts as may subsequently be sent out by
ORE. is to arrive at Palo Alto and report to Dr. Fisher not later than STAT
5 March 1947 and remain on temporary duty for sixty (60) days. Authorized per diem
for the period of temporary duty is requested.
