1. AU of 30 June the total personnel on duty was
2. Two short films on cancer were shown to FDD personnel on
7 and 8 June during the lunch period.
3. A survey eaa made of the Division in an attempt to decrease
the amount of =required intelligence reports received by the Divi-
sion from other parts of the LAC. This resulted in a 15 percent cut
in Aessage Center transmittal and logging.
OPLRATION6
1. The 51st meeting of the Oubcummittee on Lxpleitation of
Foreign Language Publications was held on LO June. The review of
'estern Europe was completed. It was agreed 1) to issue a week4
index of "Le Monde," and 2) to issue bison a) Develop-

Union Activities in Finland; umi cJ Cooperation%mmunist,
eocialiat, and Catholic Labor Unions in France and It.a1r. The review
of Japae/Korea and of Latin America was cumpleted with miner changes
in ceverage and presentation.
Since the current review of reporting programa has aeen
cempleted, the Committee will ge on e monthly meeting schedule
antil the time for the next pregram review. The next meeting will
be held 6 July.

6. On information that ATIC is essoged in compilation of

by FLL to coordinate such efforts with the collecting in progiress in
the Division. STIC's attention was called to the imminent publication
