1. The 36th, 37th, and 38th meetings of the Subcommittee on
Lxploitation of Foreign Language Publications were held 1, 22, and
29 October, respectively. The Bear Last, South Asia, and Africa
programa were concurred in, providing for monthly information reports
on (1) Arab States and Israel; (2) Greece, Turkey, and Iran; (3) India,
Pakistan, and Afghanistan; and (4) Africa.
It was agreed that 12 of the FDD scheduled reports initiated
as a result of Subcommittee agreements would be printed on one side
only to facilitate filing of item. Discussion was continued on the
25X6 Western Europe, and Latin America programs.
2. The Linguist service received 416 visitors during the month
ana screened 3916 pages.
Reference to the CTS Index prevented 20 cases of duplication
totaling 600 pages.
