REFERENCE : EXO Memorandum of 27 April 1949 re Authorization
for Language Lessons
1. Mr. of this Division is scheduled to depart
for on or about 18 April 1950 and it is planned for him
to open sever months as Acting Chief of Station, - and then re- 25X1A6a
turn to Wfor permanent assignment. Authorization is requested
for Mr. to take lessons when he reaches his new station. 25X1A6a

contact with speaking individuals and it is considered essential
that he have xn ii dge of their language..
2. The cost of such lessons for Mr. M will not exceed $110.00 25X1A9a
for six months.

value will directly benefit the Government of the United States.
