20, It is the position of this branch that such language
study is operationally essential, and is justified to our satis-
faction. In addition to the $25.00 requested above, it is-fur-
requested that permission be granted to the Chief of Station,
- to continue such language lessons utilizing operational
funds, at a cost of approximately $1.25 - $2.00 per lesson, for a
peiiod of 10 months. At the and of this time, a review will be made
to ascertain the operational necessity to continue such lessons.
