1, It is requested that $190 be authorized to enroll 25X1A9a
for 5 hours of private instruction in conversational 25X1A
through the fagilities of the Berlitz System.
2.3 The andidate is at present residing in Washington, D. C.
with instructions to pursue certain courses of study and particular
lines of activity to prepare himself for his future assignment. He
is under strict orders to avoid any and all overt connections with
this agency.
3. Since Mr._ has successfully completed 4 years of college
- it is felt that the course of instruction requested in this
memorandum will furnish him with the linguistic proficiency necessary
to the completion of his mission
1j.. It is believed in view of the nature of Mr. Ms contemplated
assignment that a concentrated refresher course in the country of his
destination is operationally necessary.
5. It is felt that security will best be preserved by instructing
