Special Reports Branch - Responsible for over-all planning and
supervision of analysis of Soviet bloc propaganda both in re-
spect to current analysis production and special intelligence
studies performed at the request of OCI, GTE, Department of
State and various psychological warfare offices throughout the
Government. The nature of the work requires a broad knowledge
of political developments and intelligence problems concerning
the Soviet world.
