1. On 15 June, I discussed with STO/DDS&T,
two matters he raised at the STO meeting of 8 June. I clarified
that the three special runnings of the Effective Briefing Course
for the DDS&T are in addition to the six scheduled offerings.
2. Don had also asked if we could offer a special running
of the Intelligence Process Course for the DDS&T. His concern
stemmed from the inability of the IPC to accommodate more
than two or three DDS&T officers per year when the enrollment
priority was given to career trainees. I explained that the
response to our recent survey of the DDO, DDS&T and DDI
guarantees that we will be able to give two TPC courses per year
for non-CTs. He is satisfied that the DDS&T will have a fair
share of slots for these runnings.
