1. The production quota for uniform material for the year 1953 is 5,1+23,000
square meters, of which 3,823,200 square meters have been finished up to
the present time. The cloth factories VEB Tuchfabrik Cottbus and VEB
Albertus at Cottbuss,are the ones principally concerned with this manufacture.
They make only uniform cloth, while the Greiz-Rosental textile works produces
about 80 percent drillstuff and bed linen. An extra supply of Soviet cotton
has been made available for the uniform production.
2.. The quota for the coming year has not been announced as yet, because changes in
the plan have occurred as a result of the "new direction".
