THIRIPRODUCTION OF 7N111 RIPOR IITID 25X1A THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 25X1X 25X1 B 1. The motorized artillery regiment at Kiskunfelegyhaza.y is eubordina.te to the 12 Rifle Division Command. It is now in the new barra, l,- south of the town on the road tQ Szeged. 2. The regiment has a staff of about 80 men, a quartermaster battery of 70', rNS?,,,; sections of three batteries each, with about 250 men to a section, and a trai,nin section of 300 men. The training section is at Sovenyhiza. 3. The lst Section has twelve 76.2 mm guns; the other two seot:lons each have ..-, ? ;lda~, 122 mm howitzers. The training section is given guns at irregular when the occasion for their use arises. 4. In October 1952 the regiment received 300 recruits, about 50 percent of them from Budapest, the remainder from the Dunantul. The section is divided to a staff of 40 men, and two batteries each of 130 men.. Each battery has a Maxim heavy machine gun, a Tokarev light machine gun, and a bazooka. Service of the gun, theoretical training such'as map reading, political training, firing with carbines and light machine guns, three times a month. 8. The section commander is First Lt Janos Csapits, 30 years old, seldom seen by the men. The commander of the lsw Battery is Lt Egon Kovacs, intelligent and sympa*hetio.
