I. The "atka Munitions depot is twelve kilometers northeast of Szekesfehdrvar
Bicske-Sz4kesfeh4rv9r highway and is barricadedi notvfar from f theUroadr junction.
Two sentries, armed with machine pistols, are posted here. One can pass only if
provided with papers from the district command, in Sz4kesfeh var.
2. The country around the depot is hilly and partly wooded, and, as a result, observation
is difficult. The depot occupies an area of about 500 x 1000 meters. It is
surrounded b .barbed :acre to a height of 2.5 meters. Along the outside of the wire
a strip of the woodland is lighted, so that any approach to the wire can be detected.
Around this lighted strip there is still another barbed w11e:barrier. Between the
two barriers, patrols move night and day and the area between is lighted at night
by searchlights.
3. Storage Is In fifty concrete bunkers, each 35 meters long by 15 meters wide by 5
meters high. The bunkers are approached by steps. There are no provisions for
mechanical transport. Inside the bunkers, wheelbarrows are used.
4. The gdtka depot is mainly used to store artillery and air force a unnition. Tpiere
are, however, some hand grenades and mines, together with a small quantity of other
ammunition. Materiel in storage is sometimes removed by rail, sometimes by truck.
The place is approached only by night and under Soviet superjl,1011.
