1.. In. Oct 1953 the Phinomenwerk at Zittau manufactured. 18 oars of the
Granit.32 type with four-wheel drives. Twelve of.-these cars were
delivered to the Volkspolizei; three were equipped with radio
telephone sets and went to a Soviet unit at Bautzen; three more
went directly to the Soviet Union.
2. Thirty-six Phanomen 3.5 ton trucks were completed and shipped out;
two others are still in the works. They are equipped with a chamber,
nand,an auxiliary motor provides power to a compressor. They are
designed as foam extinguisher oars for'airfields. This is the first
order of'this kind, 44 cars of this type are to be built by May 1954.
Of the 3.5 ton trucks delivered, the three for the Soviet Union were
equipped as fire extinguishers.
3. Production is severely restricted by material difficulties.
