1. In order to avoid the -forbidden zone of Pakistan,* along the Afghan border,
airplanes flying to Kabul have hitherto traveled the route . Karachi--Jtwani--
Zahidan-Kabul.
2. This has now been changed. Dakota machines of the Indian Air Line are allowed
to fly two routes: Delhi--Lahore--Kabul; and also Delhi--Karachi--Kandahar--
Kabul. This involves crossing the forbidden zone, though in one case at a very
narrow section.
