On 10 Nov 53 the Czechoslovak Government decided to proceed with a plan for the improvement of motor transport throughout the country and instructed General Prantigek Banda to execute it. It is expected that the plan will be complete by Juna1955. The plan will be carried out by the Svazarm under the direction of General den6k Hrudka. 2. Under the plan all drivers of every type of motor vehicle will undergo special paramilitary training under the Svazarm organizations, which will be allotted a number of motor vehicles. Training with rifles will be obligatory and will be supplemented by training with machine guns. 3. New auto parks are to be formed at Prague, tresk4 Bud6jovioe, Louny, Kradec Krdlovd and Strakonice in Bohemia, Brno, Jihlava and,Hustope6c.in Moravia and Bratislava and Nitra in Slovakia. A centralized system for the construction of '26'new repair shops will be set up by the Krajsk4 auto-moto kiuby (KAMKI the regional motorists' clubs, a branch of the.Svazarm, which will also be placed in control of repair shops now in existence. 4. The motor transport system will be supervised by a committee of experts under Miroslav ]3akala, Bil4m Ronovsky and Emanual Chlddek. On behalf of the govern- ment Karel PolaLek, Minister of Machinery, will be in charge.
