The airfields of Tolich,Zs_i7, Stara ?agora, and Plovdiv have now?;been completely
adapted for use by jet 1J.anes. They arc serving as bases ror a certain
number of Soviet planes (MIG 15). The pilots and. ground. mechanics are
all Soviet personnel.
2. Construction and adaptation of these fields have been under the direction
of Soviet experts. Bulgarians, even including military personnel, are not
allowed to enter these fields, unless they have special permission from
a military surveillance office. The chief of this surveillance service
is 'a Soviet official.
